The Cheetah Totem - I am decisive and aligned. I am aware of my vital energy, sure of my purpose. 

Is there anything in the natural world as fast as me? Not on land, I’d say. My muscles tense and know the exact moment to burst at great speeds, my paws hit the ground with an absolute surety of destination. My vision is crystal clear and undeterred. My mind, soul and body are entirely in unison once I have set my eyes on something. 

At the same time, in the natural world as in your human ones, there are miscalculations. As a cheetah I would never consider “giving up” - surely this seems ridiculous to a beast such as me. It would also prove lethal to me, but if I am your totem, then you need to understand that it could prove devastating to you as well. To err is nature. To learn is nature. I do not take missing my goal personally. I see the error, course correct, and strike again. 

Cheetah awareness means a beautiful balance of sure focus, patience, and bursting forth when your intuition yells “GO!” Trust your gut above all else and surely you will land your prize when the timing is right.
